Power Poppy 2-20-2015

Hello

Today I am putting this card that I made into

Power Poppy's Challenge.

 

The challenge is about "Looking to the sky" for

your color combos.

So, as you can see, I have used deep purple colors and greens.

 

I have colored this with Copic Markers.

I used BV29, BV25, BV23 for the flowers

and G99, G94, G21 for the leaves and stems.

Pleats Tutorial

Hello.

 

I was recently asked to do a "pleats" tutorial and so

that is what this blog is about.

The colors I used are for Copic markers, but, of course,

you can do the exact same thing with any type of alcohol markers.

 

 

I was asked to separate this out....

With pleats, you are just adding color right next to color and blend them well.

 

Your third color is next.

 

 I hope you are noticing that I am doing 2 at one time.  The long

pleat and the short pleat.

Be sure to keep blending...

 

Before going on to the next set of pleats,

If you have lightened your dark colors too much,

go back over them again. 

Keep working your way around the dress until you have completed it.

The completed dress is up above.

Art By Mi Ran (Clean and Simple) using Ellie's Belly Dance

Hello and so glad you stopped by.

Today I am showing you Ellie's Belly Dance from Art By Mi Ran.

 

We are using the theme of CAS (Clean and Simple).

So, that is what I did. 

 

She is colored with Copic markers.

I used a die cut for the oval and then just several layers of different

paper and a bow.  Very simple.
